The Quaker Testimony of Peace:

Trish Eckert is teaching the spring 2014 course, “Elise Boulding: Foundations of Peace” Trish is excited to teach this Friends Colloquium, which will explore the life and works of Elise Boulding, Quaker peace activist, sociologist, and writer. Boulding made significant contributions to Peace and Conflict Studies, focusing on cultures of peace, noticing the importance of the family environment in daily peace processes, and highlighting the role of women in history and the peace process. There are almost 20 students registered for this semester, representing many aspects of our student body.
