Recommendation Letter Instructions

Applicants for the the Quaker Fellow Scholarship should forward the following information to the person to whom you are seeking a recommendation:

I am contacting you to make a request that you complete a recommendation letter on my behalf as part of the application process for the Quaker Fellows Scholarship Program at Earlham College. Earlham is a Quaker college whose values are based on Principles and Practices which guides our community, centering on Respect for Persons, Integrity, Peace and Justice, Simplicity, and Community.

Quaker Fellows includes three formation cores: spirituality, community and leadership development. The program is designed for young adults who are serious about serving as leaders in their communities, developing tools for social transformation and living a life grounded in the Spirit. With this in mind, I ask that as you write this letter of recommendation, that you address what you have witnessed regarding me in group settings, how I interact with others, how I fulfill leadership roles, and any aspects of my spiritual life that you may be familiar with.  

This recommendation must be received by February 15, 2015. Email is preferred, but postal mail is also accepted.
