Iverson's Research Cited:

Chicago's Shedd Aquarium is posting from their iguana research trip to the Bahamas on National Geographic News Watch. This week, trip leader Dr. Chuck Knapp notes the 30 years of research done there by EC's Dr. John Iverson. Along with the narrative, some terrific photos to get a sense of areas that John has exposed our students to in this incredible fieldwork.

A Multicultural Context for Teaching German:

Traditionally, few minorities study German and the language is dwindling on campus across the country. One passionate advocate for German, Earlham's Margaret Hampton, says educating about Germany's multicultural society may be key to its survival in American colleges and universities.
