C. L. Lindsay brings his entertaining and humorous yet sobering presentation on students, social media and the law to our convocation series. After leaving his law practice in New York City, Lindsay started the Coalition for Student & Academic Rights (CO-STAR). As the foundations acting Executive Director, he is building CO-STAR into a national student rights organization that helps thousands of college students with their legal problems free of charge. Recognized as an expert and leader in the field of student rights and academic freedom, Lindsay literally wrote the book on legal problems at college in his text The College Student’s Guide to the Law.
