Field Courses

Earlham's Outdoor Education Office offers a variety of field courses and programs focused on outdoor and adventure education. Participants of all experience levels welcome for AWPE activity courses to simply experience the joy of outdoor recreation on the introductory level. Higher-level AWPE instructor courses are intended for students interested in attaining the Outdoor Education Designation and/or pursuing employment opportunities with Earlham's Outdoor Education Office as well as other outdoor programs and organizations. These courses offer students the chance to experience both the theory and the practice of outdoor and adventure education in an immersive, expeditionary context.
