Final
Report of the Strategic Planning Committee
On October 16, 2002, the Earlham
College Faculty minuted its approval of the Report of the Strategic Planning
Committee (campus draft 3):
In approving the final report
of the Strategic Planning Committee, the Earlham faculty concurs with
its recognition of the central features of Earlham today and its appraisal
of the major challenges we face. We acknowledge the commitments and
priorities of resources as means of setting the direction of the college
through the end of this decade. We will work toward fulfilling the commitments
through existing structures, through new internally generated initiatives,
and through the pursuit of additional outside opportunities that cannot
be foreseen at present. We will remain committed to this effort and
institute a regular schedule of assessment to help us measure our progress.
The Final Report of the Strategic
Planning Committee was approved by the Board of Trustees in February 2003.
The report is based
on study and deliberations that are summarized in our White
Papers and the Performance-Importance
Matrix .
The report and
supporting documents are intended for the Earlham Community. An Earlham
username and password will be required to read them.
