Present: Rick Foreman, Wes Miller, Sara Penhale, Monteze Snyder, Margaret Hampton, Newell Pledger-Shinn, Paul Ogren, Bob Southard, Doug Bennett, Kirsten Bohl, Larry Stimpert

Doug Bennett introduced Larry Stimpert, ACE Fellow, visiting for the year and observing various campus meetings.

We discussed faculty response to the draft plan at the faculty meeting (of the same day). We agreed to create several things: (1) some new and/or expanded text about the plan's basis in an enrollment of 1200 students; (2) a compiled list of possible revisions to the draft plan; (3) a grid outlining avenues for implementing the plan through our regular governance processes; and (4) a draft minute for the faculty's approval at a subsequent meeting

Doug will send thank-you notes to various individuals who helped make the convocation and related discussions on September 4 possible, including: the student, faculty, and staff respondents at convo, Cheryl Gibbs, the Word editors, and Nancy Sinex.
