Academic Calendar Policy
Approved by the President — November 9, 2005
It is the responsibility of the Registrar to submit
the official academic calendar of the College. A draft calendar
will be proposed by the Registrar no later than the first week
in November for consideration to those listed below. Within a
week after consultation, the Registrar will post the draft calendar
to the Faculty list serve. By November 15, the calendar will
be forwarded to the President for final approval. Upon the President’s
approval, the calendar will be posted to the College’s Web
site as the Official Academic Calendar for the upcoming academic
year as noted. The Registrar will forward a notice to the Faculty
when the calendar has been officially posted.
Consultation will be sought from:
Admissions — Dean of Admissions (including Summer Programs)
Alumni Relations
Athletics — Athletics Director
Business Office
Campus Ministries
Campus Services
College Conference
Curricular Policy Committee
Faculty — via the list serve
Masters of Arts, Master of Education Programs
Residential Life
Dining Services
The Draft is also shared with the Earlham School of Religion.
