Assistant Professor of Politics
- M.A., University of Edinburgh
This semester I'm teaching classes on U.S. parties and elections, international law and human rights, and American foreign policy.
Peter Harris’s broader research interests include international relations, foreign policy and U.S. politics. He has written and presented on topics in power-transition theory and the politics of overseas military bases. “Teaching at Earlham allows me to combine my twin research and teaching interests in international relations and American politics,” he says. He also enjoys blogging on these topics for The National Interest magazine.
Harris appreciates Earlham student awareness of politics and the world around them.
