Sherri Rose teaches a variety of courses related to French language and culture. As a scholar, her current research explores trends in the everyday and in affect theory by examining the relations between social anxiety and formal creativity marking French and Belgian literary cultures of the fin-de-siècle.

“The students I have encountered amaze me by the richness of perspectives they bring to the classroom,” she says. “They are inquisitive learners and passionate heralds of their world views.”
