Instructions for Updating Personal
Information in WebDB
(Hint: You will
need to scroll to the bottom of each of the
screens you open during this process. Please
read and follow the directions carefully.)
1. Go to Earlhams Home Page at www.earlham.edu,
roll over the "Information Services" link,
then select the "WebDB" link from the pull-down
menu and you are there!
2. Login to WebDB using your Earlham e-mail
username and password.
3. Choose the Preferences tab.
4. Under the heading Directory Information,
choose "Update
Directory Information."
If all of the information is correct on
the screen displaying your personal information, you should
scroll down and proceed to "Privacy Options."
If the information needs updating, fill
in only the boxes that need correcting. Review this information
carefully. Go to the bottom of this screen and press the
"Submit" button
to enter this information. You will be shown a sample of
your corrected information to review.
5. After reviewing your information, proceed
to "Privacy Options." Use the Privacy Options
settings to indicate the display option appropriate for
each part of your information. When finished, press "Update
Settings." Be sure
to Log Out of WebDB when you're done.
It may take our operator several days to
handle the final entry of your updated information into
the database. At that time, you will receive an e-mail
message letting you know your corrections have been made.
Please return to WebDB to review these corrections.
