Ordering an Official Transcript
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 states that a request for official transcripts must be made in writing to the Registrar's Office. The request must include the student's current address and the addresses where the transcripts are to be sent. Dates attended, birth date, social security number or graduation date is helpful. The transcript request must include your name as registered at Earlham. A handwritten signature is required on transcript requests.
Please note all of the following:
- There is a $5.00 charge
for each transcript that
you order.
- The Registrar's Office will process transcripts, but will not
mail them out until payment is received.
- Transcripts
are processed twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays.
- Please
allow at least a week for processing.
- During
very busy transcript times, graduate school application
deadlines, etc., please allow at least two
weeks.
Our mailing address is Registrar's Office, Earlham College, 801 National Road West, Drawer 34, Richmond, IN 47374-4095. You may fax your request using the Earlham College Transcript Fax Request Form. Please fax the form to 765/983-1374 and then follow up with a check by mail.
Please note: We CANNOT fax transcripts, nor can we issue unofficial transcripts to non-enrolled students.
Please print clearly and use a black pen when filling out the Transcript Request Form.
