Each year, Earlham College is required by federal mandate to provide public access to certain information about crimes reported on or near campus. This federal statute, known as the Clery Act — formally, The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act — was enacted in 1990 and calls specifically for the disclosure of criminal offenses, hate offenses and arrests reported on campus or public property near campus dating back three (3) years from the current academic year.
