Constitution
Article 1
Section 1: Earlham Women’s Club Lacrosse
Section 2: Mission Statement: To promote athletics
and encourage building relationships among lacrosse players in various schools
and clubs.
Section 3: Our reason for forming the
club is due to the cancellation of Women’s Lacrosse as a
varsity sport. This club will be a way for the continuation of
opportunities for females to play
lacrosse in a competitive team setting.
Section 4: The long term goals for this
organization are to continue to expand as a club sport and increase
our ability to play in tournaments
and against other schools.
Article 2
Section 1: All females involved at Earlham that are interested
in playing Lacrosse are welcome to join.
Section 2: There are about 25 students interested in playing.
Article 3
Section 1: Convenor-Kate Kozlowski
Business Manager: Lauren McKown
Section 2: Officers are in charge of scheduling games, and budgeting our finances.
Article 4
Section 1: The officers will be selected through volunteer and
consensus.
Article 5
Section 1: We plan to practice three times a week, plus have several
games throughout the semester.
Article 6
Section 1: The officers will schedule games as possible, but the
entire team will be involved in deciding whether or not we should
travel or are able to play other teams. Through consensus the
team will decide where to travel, what games to attend, and which
teams to invite to play.
Article 7
Section 1: The constitution is open to review and change to all
members of the group through an open process of dialogue.
Article 8
Section 1: Out faculty advisor will be Jill Butcher
who was the former Varisty Lacrosse Coach.
