Admissions and Financial Aid Advisory Committee

Charge: Serves as a sounding board for the Admissions Office for concerns and challenges in recruitment efforts at the College; acts as an advisory group to the Admissions Office through the Dean(s) of Admissions, responding to issues such as recruitment and enrollment; offers suggestions and recommendations for consideration as new policy and practice; and serves as a conduit from the faculty for ideas regarding recruitment and marketing of departments and programs. To fulfill this charge, members of the committee may meet routinely with the President and other offices and departments at the College to support coordinated and cooperative efforts to recruit students to the College. The committee will ensure that reports are made to the Faculty Meeting, Administrative Council, and Employee Council as a matter of information, to keep all community members updated on progress in recruiting new students to the College and the challenges faced in these efforts, and on new programs or practices instituted in an effort to maintain and increase enrollment.

Membership: Four teaching faculty representing each of the four divisions, two students, Associate Academic Dean, Dean of Admissions, and an Athletic Liaison.
