Notes:

  • All FC-RAID-01 units LUNs are RAID 5, 467 GB.
  • All FC-RAID-02 units LUNs are RAID 1, 465 GB.
  • VMware IDs are taken from HERE's listing. We are unsure about labeling for FC-RAID-02 (they might be swapped).
  • Solaris device names refer to the base device name found in the /devices tree. This will be under either or both of the directories IntraServer,fc@1 and IntraServer,fc@1,1 (depending on whether one or both of the ports is connected to the SAN).
  • The Apple Xserve Raids can be configured by using Raid Admin (a java application). The current version as of this writing is 1.5 and can be found on apple's site
