27 Oct 2004
Added the SUNWqus family of drivers (SUNWqus, SUNWqusx, SUNWqusu, SUNWqusux) to enable the PCI SCSI card (a Qlogic QLA10162).
28 Oct 2004
Downloaded and installed updated drive and robot mappings files from Veritas, patch file
Mappings_4.5_272355.tar. This installs the files
external_drive_mappings.txt and
external_robot_mappings.txt into
/usr/openv/share. Allows
NetBackup autoconfiguration wizard to recognize the Spectra T120.
29 Oct 2004
Added patch 112706-03 for the SUNWqus driver. Added second LTO-2 drive to the Spectra T120. The two LTO-2 drives are on different channels of the PCI SCSI card, as the qus driver was generating parity errors with them daisy chained on the same channel.
16 May 2005
Took the 12GB of free space from the third and fourth drives to make a mirror partition (slice 0) on which to put the
NetBackup install and the catalog backups. They were heading up to 2GB and living on the 4GB /home partition was making the filesystem full and causing backups to fail.
