Purpose

The primary mail server, hosting POP, IMAP, and SMTP. It currently also hosts the Request Tracker instance.

Dependancies

KE depends on EIRENE or PAX for DNS and SHANTI for user authentication.

Startup/Shutdown

• Startup: Power on will automatically boot the system. Single user mode can be selected by interrupting the boot timeout and typing boot -s.
• Shutdown: shutdown -h now will shutdown and halt the system, but not power it off. shutdown -r now will reboot the system.
