Life at Earlham — Behind the Blog
Five Earlham students chronicle their lives on and off campus in this daily blog that's become essential reading for those looking for an authentic portrait of life at the College. In planning the Life at Earlham blog we decided that we wanted to hear authenticity more than we wanted to assign topics. In other words, we’re listening to the old Quaker maxim: “proceed as the way opens.”
Our bloggers — Elsa Haag, Piper Lewis, Sara Lepkoff, Simon Levine and Spencer Smith — are all seasoned pros, beginning their second year blogging for the College. They are excellent storytellers, each with a distinct voice and point-of-view, all interested in exploring different aspects of the Earlham experience and its impact on them. As we pick up their narrative, a rather apt quote from Parker Palmer comes to mind: “Before I can tell my life what I want to do with it, I must listen to my life telling me who I am.” Join us as we listen to these exciting lives.
