Welcome to our webpage! As part of Management 110 class requirement, we had to create a website with a specific topic of research. The pages created relate by talking about digital music and its different aspects: first the
music's industries response, then the software that enables us to acquire digital music and that software works and finally digital's music future.
When one the coolest professor in Earlham College, Mark Pearson BSc, Phd, MSc, CDM & bar, presented the Management 110 class options on group projects, our team which consists of Marianne, George and Zaqloub,
noticed one theme that interested us and we had to research it. The topic is "Digital Music". Digital Music is a subject of controversy worldwide. Whether it is a moral and/or legal
issue is up to the individual. At some point, each and every one of us has encountered music online and had to take a decision.
With the latest technological advancements like CD burners, MP3 players, and software that enables people to aqcuire music online. Marianne's sub-theme is the future of digital music. She researched
and came up with where the very rapid advancements of gadgets and technology may lead the music indusrty. George's subjects were software
oriented and involved how Kazaa and Napster work (file sharing in general) and the difference between the two. Zaqloub's economics skills (he's an Econ major) helped him write a great essay on the industry's response to file sharing.
We researched and wrote the essays, created a site from scratch and brought to you this humble site.
