Drew Hosier Receives National Academic Honor

RICHMOND, Ind. — Earlham College graduate Drew Hosier recently received a national academic honor.
Hosier (Gas City, IN/Mississenewa) was selected as a member of the 2009 National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society. He majored in biochemistry.
“We are so proud of Drew Hosier for his success in the classroom and on the football field,” Earlham Head Coach Gerry Keesling said. “He is an outstanding young man who is exceptional in all of his endeavors.”
A four-year letterman for the Quakers, Hosier had 36 tackles as a defensive back last season, including a season-high of eight against Oberlin College. He also had an interception against Anderson University.
Student-athletes must have a 3.2 GPA, while being a starter or significant contributor during the football season. There were 564 players honored from 266 schools in all divisions.
