Mineva Receives NCAC Honorable Mention

RICHMOND, Ind. — Earlham College sophomore Nora Mineva was selected on Monday for a spot on the All-North Coast Athletic Conference Honorable Mention Team for women’s tennis.

Mineva (Pleven, Bulgaria/Lester B. Pearson) was 10-5 overall this year with an 8-4 mark in the spring. She played most of the year at No. 3 singles, but finished the season by winning three of her last four contests at No. 2.

In doubles, Mineva was 6-10 overall. With first-year Alex Softness (Atlanta, GA/Paideia School) as a partner in the spring she was 5-8 overall. The duo was 5-5 at No. 2 doubles.
