In June of 2006 we received and installed a new PerkinElmer AAnalyst 800 series spectrometer, with both flame and graphite furnace capabilities. The furnance also has an autosampler for automated multiple sample analysis. Sample analysis is easy on the new Dell computer with 17 inch LCD display. This instrument will be of great use for metals analysis in both analytical research and courses such as Equilibrium and Analysis.
