Students arriving at other venues
will be assessed a transportation fee of $50.
Students remaining on campus after 12:00 noon on Saturday,
July 5 will be charged $50.
$1,600 for tuition, room, board, and two semester hours of college credit upon successful completion of the course. Books, supplies, and off-campus activities are extra. A $25 late fee will be added to applications received after May 28, 2008.
Any student who successfully completes an Explore-A-College course and eventually enrolls in the College receives a credit toward Earlham’s tuition. This credit equals one-half of the Explore-A-College tuition the student paid.
A $50 non-refundable deposit is due with your application. This deposit is applied toward your Explore-A-College tuition.
Financial aid is very limited and based on academic standing and need. Students applying for financial aid assistance first MUST be accepted into Explore-A-College 2008. To apply, please contact the Director of Explore-A-College for information and an application. When applying, please include a copy of the parents’ 2007 IRS Tax Return with the application form. The financial aid application deadline for Explore-A-College 2008 is May 5, 2008.
Explore-A-College students are housed in an Earlham residence hall. Earlham College students serve as hall counselors and teaching assistants.
Limited; classes fill on a first-come, first-served basis.
Upon request, students will be met at the airport in Dayton, Ohio and transported to and from campus at no cost.
