EFS Information
The Earlham Film
Series is responsible for bringing and showing feature films to the Earlham
community on Friday and Saturday nights and on Sunday afternoons. We realize
that different people have different tastes in films, so we try to provide a
wide spectrum of motion pictures: from popular Hollywood blockbusters to lesser-known
foreign films, and everything in between.
EFS
meets on Monday evenings at 8:00 in the Runyan Center Coffeeshop.
Our meetings generally involve discussing ways of publicizing our upcoming
films and deciding who will be in charge of the four weekend showings for each
particular film. Also, as the year progresses, we will start making decisions
about what films we should try to bring for the next semester. Of course, we
also spend a fair amount of time simply talking about motion pictures in
general. So if you like talking about movies, or if you'd like to learn more
about what it means to be a member of the Earlham Film Series, then we
encourage you come on over to the Coffeeshop on
Tuesday nights. Our meetings are very informal, and we are always looking for
new members.
