| MOOOVIE TIME!
The HHMI Bridge Program is not just about
schoolwork alone. No sir. When the "freakin' weekend"
rolls around, the bridgers are free to roam around the Richmond
area (with the aid of a teacher's assistant, of course) and
experience the urban night life. This year's gang went to
the theater and witnessed new flicks such as Seabiscuit
and SWAT. The films added greatly
to the overall enjoyment of the program. All work and no play
makes John Howell a dull boy.
A STORM HITS EARLHAM!
Upon leaving the theater after watching Seabiscuit,
the bridgers were bombarded by gale force winds and
raindrops the size of hamsters. So what did this group of
young scientists do? They put on their bathing suits and tossed
around the frisbee! The lightning bolts provided adequate
light for the game, and the puddles made for some great lap
swimming. This just goes to show that the HHMI Program is
all about having a good time, rain or shine.
