The
TA's gave up three weeks of their summer to help us out
in so many
ways. They were there to help us with any questions we had about
homework and classwork. Whether it was across campus to
the library
or to Wal-Mart across town, they were willing to take us. We even
made a couple of trips to Cincinatti which is an hour and
forty-five
minutes away. They were here for us from beginning to end.

A
Shout Out to Terry!
Without
the wonderful Terry Shipley we would not have been nearly as content
with the Hughes program as we were. Everyday she provided snacks
for us to munch on so we could take a break during our three hour
morning lecture. She made much of the delicious food herself and
even had all twelve students, three TA's and one teacher over at
her house for dinner. It was a nice change from cafeteria food and
we are all very grateful for her generosity. Terry also put together
our tour of Reid hospital, each of the students transportation arrangements
to and from home, and did a lot more behind-the-scenes work.
Thank
you Terry! |

We've
Got Skill!
Usually
our mornings are spent building skills and learning more about our
academic strengths and weaknesses. Janet Russel put together many
of the talks and discussions we had during these times. As a result,
we all know a little bit more about which learning styles and study
habits are better suited for each of us. Her bright and exhuberent
personality made having to be in class in the early morning hours
more bearable.
Thanks
Janet!
