Scavenger Hunt 2003

The scavenger hunt for 2003 was great. We split up into groups of three to explore Earlham college and some of the Richmond Area. This activity instilled in us some of the values that Earlham is known for such as working together as a community, communication ,trust, and leadership. This activity also enhanced our problem solving skills, showed us that every activity doesn't have to be laborious but can also be fun and that working to in groups can be alot more helpful than working alone. This activity also gave us more time to talk and interact with other students in the program that we may not have interacted with previously. The team had to listen to one another for ideas and directions this made it so that every team member acted as a leader at some point in the scavenger hunt. Communication not only play a role in our small groups of three but also played a role in each group coming together to organize the activities that had to be done a entire group of all 12 students.
