    You should be working on your PROJECT and on April 2, turn in a two-page typed summary in Spanish of
    what you have read, learned and what you plan to do for the final presentation.

    lunes 26 de marzo  Write a two-page journal during vacation expressing what is going on in your vacation life.
    INCLUDE some present perfect from pps. 384-386. Be able to give it orally in class.

    Martes 27 de marzo Estudia dialogos 380-383.   Be able to summarize them orally without notes.
       Write C, 383.  Be sure you read the article on 383 carefully.

    Miércoles 28 de marzo Poesía de escritores norteamericanos(handout). Escriba su propio poema.

    Jueves 29 de marzo Prueba sobre Present Perfect y vocab from Mariposa y  artículo en p, 383.

    Viernes 30 de marzo Película

    Lunes 2 de abril Turn in 2 pages on your Project.  Include titles of a few new sources you have found.

    Viernes 6 de abril Read p. 401 and summarize this article in Spanish.  DISCUSION
     

    Lunes 9 de abril Read play. Also ìEL SHOW DE COCINARî . Without notes, tell the
        class a recipe, how to make some dish. Useful  vocab:
       Poner, agregar(add), cucharadita,(teaspoon), un poco de, revolver(stir)
       freír(fry). USE FAMILIAR COMMANDS, and SE at times for ìoneî
       ìyouî
    Martes 10 de abril Finish Play.

    Miércoles  11 de abril Work on writing your own plays, short story, poetry or songs

    Viernes 13 de abril Present your writing.

    THE LAST WEEK WILL BE FOR PRESENTING YOUR PROJECTS: use a handout, poster presentation,
            overhead, powerpoint, etc.

    FINAL EXAM WILL BE ORAL, 20 MINUTES, DURING EXAM WEEK.
     
     
     
     
     

    El proyecto del semestre

      Your semester-long project should be just that. Once you have established a topic and a bibliography, you should start reading, collecting materials, finding useful websites, and pictures to create a portfolio of material to hand in, and to write both a final paper and present a poster session on your topic.

      Dates for submitting your project:

      February 20---Hand in Portfolio of your project in a folder with pockets, including most useful bibliography, books and articles you have actually read, copies of any useful info, maps, pictures, websites,
      etc.

      April 2--Two pages en español explaining what you have learned and what you are going to do to complete the project.

      April 23--Present your project to class in a poster session and turn in a five page paper, typed, doubled space with bibliography. Be sure to footnote.
