Friends Colloquium

A one-credit, hour-long class, Friends Colloquium meets weekly and examines a Quaker text or some aspect of Quaker faith and practice. Topics have included diversity among Friends, Friends' use of creative writing, and Quakers and the Bible. Previous texts have included Quakers in America, Walk Worthy of Your Calling and The Quaker Bible Reader.

Earlham Young Friends

A student-led group, Earlham Young Friends meets for social activities as well as spiritual discussion and exploration. Weekly activities include field trips, community building, open worship, worship sharing and discussion that centers on integrating one's spirituality into everyday life.

Soup, Spirit and Song

Several times over the semester, students, faculty and community members gather at Virginia Cottage for delicious homemade soup and bread followed by singing from the Rise Up Singing songbook.
