Wildman Science Library serves an integral role in the science curriculum of Earlham College. The library's instruction program provides students with the skills needed to access and use information resources relevant to course assignments from the departments and programs of Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Environmental Sciences, Geosciences, Math, and Physics & Astronomy.
Wildman Science Library is located in Noyes Hall, the connecting link between the two science buildings -- Dennis Hall and Stanley Hall. The collection includes books, journals, and an extensive collection of maps. Reference computers allow access to electronic resources such as online databases, electronic journals, and the world wide web. Individual carrels, lounge seating, and study rooms provide space for individual as well as group work.
The ECS Wildman Computing Lab occupies part of the lower level of the library. Thirty personal computer workstations, with printers and scanners, are available for individual student use. During occasional daytime hours, this lab is used as a classroom space for Earlham courses requiring computer capabilities.
The library is open weekdays from 8am to midnight, Fridays 8am to 10pm, Saturdays 10am to 8pm and Sunday noon to midnight.
