Lilly Library provides Faculty, Students and Library Patrons with access to the following:
This lab is located on the main floor of the Lilly Library near the reference area. Its primary use is for conducting research of in house Library resources, internet resources, and a large collection of Electronic Databases and Journals. It is also used by Reference Librarians for training students in the use of available resources. Software is available for word processing and other standard functions provided on lab computers in the Landrum Bolling Center, and the 24-hour lab below.
Wireless laptops are available for use within the Lilly Library and can be checked out from the Library Circulation Desk. These machines may be signed out for up to four hours at a time and are for in-library use only. These laptops contain the same software available on public lab machines.
Located in the basement of Lilly Library, this lab is split into two rooms and contains 20 Dell Pentium PCs and 10 Apple iMacs. One room is set up in the traditional lab format, while the other room is designed to be a multiple use facility such as a computer aided study room, group project collaboration space, and student presentation practice space. Access to the lab when the library is closed is through the South entrance by using your Earlham ID. This entrance is not for public use when the library is open.
Lilly Library provides a limited number of computers for use by visitors to the library. These computers are located on the main floor of the library and use is restricted to Web based services, e.g., library catalog, Web-based e-mail, library databases. Please see Circulation Desk staff for further information about community member access to library materials.
There are 5 meeting rooms available for faculty, students, and the public, by reservation. If not reserved they are used on a first-come basis. The rooms are:

ITAM has the bulk of Earlham's film and video, audio and slide collections. The collection contains over 4,000 catalogued videotapes, DVDs, laserdiscs and 16mm films and focuses on foreign language feature films, PBS programs and other programs of that support the curriculum. The audio collection includes CDs, audiotapes and phono recordings, many used for music and language classes. An extensive collection of art slides is also available for classroom use. ITAM has carrels for individual viewing/listening as well as one room to accommodate small group viewings. Classroom support as well as support of public events, (convocation speakers, performances, and athletic events) is also provided by ITAM.
ITAM provides equipment for editing both audio and video in both analog and digital formats as well as working with Photoshop and other graphics programs. Use of the equipment is on a scheduled basis and not always available at walk-in. Please consult with the Circulation Desk in ITAM for information and to schedule use of the lab equipment.
