NetBackup is happy again. All I ended up having to do was boot EYEWI with “boot -r” to rebuild the device files. Tested a backup for ASHTI, and it seemed ok.
Settling back in and trying to get NetBackup to work again.
Apparently NetBackup went kaput with the power outage the Thursday before I got back. I’m not entirely sure what went wrong, but I have a feeling the catalog database is corrupt. I’m trying a restore of the /home/opt/openv/netbackup/db directory to see if it’s happier with that.
The more recent Thursday night involved a big storm that took out the A/C in the machine room, so Friday was spent babysitting machines.
