Gather round. today we're going to see how to do various new things with Powerpoint to spice up a presentation and you are going to learn how to create tables and charts

Hyperlinks : internal
  • Select text to click on
  • Right-click. Choose Action Settings.
  • Choose Hyperlink To ...
  • Pull down Slide ... and choose the slide you want to jump to.
Hyperlinks : Web URL
  • Select text to click on
  • Right-click. Choose Action Settings.
  • Choose Hyperlink To ...
  • Pull down URL ... and type or paste in the Web URL.
  • How would you enter an email link?
Glueing Presentations together
  1. Assemble all the presentations together in a single folder
  2. In Powerpoint, create a new slideshow
  3. Select Insert —> Slides
  4. Choose a powerpoint file and select all the slides or you can select individual ones
Slide Notes

 Slide Notes are a convenient way of keeping the original text that you summarized for the slide. Just copy and paste it inot the Slide Note frame at the bottom of the screen (in Normal View).

Now you can export slides and notes into MS Word and format for a handout.
