At great expense in time I have created a handout that condenses the instructions for the sections you need to do today. Most of the graphic helps are absent and so to view these you'd refer to the appropriate online page.

Handout contents:

Create folder called "excel_data" in your Home drive (H:\).

Skip to Getting Started: Entering Data section and do the data entry & save the file "trips.xls" to your home dirve (H:\excel_data). You may want to use the handout at this point. This file will be used in subsequent exercises.
Any reference to "home drive" or "H:\" in the handout refers to H:\excel_data

Now do Arrange:

1. Sort :      save as trips2.xls
2. Columns : save as trips3.xls
3. Rows :     save as trips4.xls

Now do Autofill:

1. Data :       save as trips5.xls
2. Formulas :  save as trips6.xls
3. Autosum :  save as trips7.xls

Do Exercises:

1. Theatre tickets. Download theatre.xls for use with this exercise.
2. Soccer budget. You'll start from scratch here. The soccer data is not clear on the handout, so you need to view Soccer Data in the popup window and transcribe from there. Save in filename soccer_budget.xls.

Upload trips7.xls, theater.xls and soccer_budget.xls into your personal blog.

If you don't finish the exercises in class, then finish them for homework and upload them into your personal blog.
