Ben Edelman and Jonathan Zittrain of Harvard's Berkman Center have released a report establishing that Google has deleted sites from its French and German editions. Google admits that it removes sites on a case-by-case basis in order to comply with local laws, but Edelman and Zittrain claim that Google has removed more sites than French and German law require.
