On January 27 the DARE network of OAI compatible
institutional repositories has been launched. Before a large audience
of highly ranked representatives of Dutch universities
these repositories, all up and running, were harvested
with a harvester specially built for this purpose. The
harvester will be further developed to become a
national portal to the on line available scholarly
literature in the Netherlandss and will remain on line.
Come and visit
http://demonstrator.itor.org. The harvester has a
number of features. One of these features is access to a
large number of the full texts from the harvester site
itself.
