On April 14, David Goodman proposed a new funding model for OA journals on the LibLicense discussion list. We blogged it on April 21, and today UKSG Serials eNews published extensive excerpts from the discussion. The UKSG edition is a good way to follow the thread without a lot of clicking.

I recommend the OA tracking project (OATP) as the best way to stay on top of new OA developments. You can read the OATP feed on a blog-like web page or subscribe to it by RSS, email, or Twitter. You can also help build the feed by tagging new developments you encounter.
