A pseudonymous grad student with a blog has posted a note about her dissertation topic:
My thesis focuses on informal citation patterns (citation on the web--including blogs, list-serves, syllabi, web sites, etc., as well as vitas, course pages, and other online articles) as a result of publishing in the OA journal, PLoS Biology, comparing these citation patterns to a similar print-only journal citation pattern.
She poses several questions about the topic and would probably welcome answers and suggestions through the comment section of her blog.
