New publisher of OA journals in petroleum engineering

Petroleum Journals Online publishes six peer-reviewed, open-access journals. (Thanks to the Internet Resources Newsletter.) From the web site:
Petroleum Journals Online is concerned with fundamental and applied research, new technology, operations, and case studies in petroleum engineering. It provides an international forum for online publication of high quality peer reviewed papers on the principles and techniques for hydrocarbon exploitation. We publish the following journals: e-journal of drilling engineering, e-journal of production engineering, e-journal of reservoir engineering, e-journal of petrophysics, e-journal of production geology, and e-journal of energy economics.

Petroleum Journals Online provides open access to all of its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Such access is associated with increased readership and increased citation of an author's work. For more information on this approach, see the Public Knowledge Project, which has designed this system to improve the scholarly and public quality of research, and which freely distributes the journal system as well as other software to support the open access publishing of scholarly resources.
