ERIC is pleased to announce the release of nearly 60,000 additional full-text electronic documents. This release is part of the continuing effort underway within the ERIC Microfiche Digitization Project. To date, more than 170,000 documents scanned from microfiche are now available in full text. The majority of the documents in the current release were published prior to 1978.
The Microfiche Digitization Project will close in March 2009, and ERIC is still seeking to discuss ERIC permissions with authors and copyright holders of works that were indexed 1966-1992. If you or someone you know has work indexed in ERIC that is available in microfiche only, please visit the digitization page to learn more about this initiative. Granting permission for ERIC to release copyrighted works in electronic format will ensure that these materials are widely accessible.
