Introduction to Environmental NGO's
In the past few years, many organizations have sprung up to combat those who would destroy our biosphere. These organizations are largely responsible for causing the great amount of attention given to environmental matters in the past decade, through thier use of grass-roots education and organizing. They have included the common person in thier attemps to fight huge corporations and governments. They have interpreted all that scientific data so we don't have to.
Many have involved themselves with the fight to save the world's forests, particularly the rainforests. In fact, many organizations exist which concern themselves only with rainforests.
There are many of these organizations, and they all do many wonderfull things, so only a few will be spotlighted here, and then only briefly. However, there are plenty of links, so go ahead and click that mouse!! C'mon, I know you want to. And help save the forests, while you're at it.
