Population is seen by many to be the biggest and most important element of the environmental crisis. Overpopulation strains natural resources, effects standards of living, and influences the socioeconomic conditions of the country. China and India currently are the two most populated countries in the world. Both of these country's governments understand the need for population control and have begun working to slow the population growth. Within these pages, we have taken a closer look at the current situation, how those came about, and some possible soultions for the future of these two large and ever growing countries.
