The
Writing Lab
It
doesn't matter if you need to write a response paper for IP or
a senior
thesis in economics; the Writing Lab can help. The Writing Lab
tutors can help at any stage in the writing process - brainstorming,
organization, drafts, and final editing. They will work with
you to improve your writing, not just your paper.
Some
Misconceptions about Writing Tutors
Tutors are
just proofreaders.
Not exactly. Tutors improve writers,
not papers.
Tutoring
takes lots of time.
Wrong again. One or two good sessions with a tutor
makes writing a paper uses time more efficiently.
This paper
has to be finished before I can get help.
Tutors can help during the writing process - from
brainstorming to final draft.
Tutoring
is for poor writers only.
A tutoring session can help even the most skilled
writer clarify ideas.
