ECS System and Network Management

The Computing Services System and Networking (Sys/Net) team is a place for students interested in working with production servers and networking equipment to learn these skills. Headed by ECS faculty John "Rowan" Littell, Kevan Wogoman, and Aaron Cayard-Roberts, we maintain the campus network infrastructure and ECS server computers.

Here you will find some of the resources that the Sys/Net Team uses on a regular basis. The Code of Ethics describes the general philosophy with which we approach our work. The TWiki and Log contain our online documentation and records of our activities. The monitoring systems provide live system and network monitoring and historical performance data. Nagios is restricted to Sys/Net Team members and other authorized personel as it is the control center for our real-time monitoring system.
