The current stable version of Moodle is now in production on the new server HEDD.
This server is a Sun Fire V210 purchased under Sun’s educational matching grant program to run our instance of Moodle. Technical details can be found in TWiki.
As with the testing server last semester, we are copying the Moodle data to PAX every night via rsync. The testing Moodle instance from spring 2004 is also available on the server as a reference, although we’re not maintaining it in any fashion.
I installed four new disks in PACO to fill up its internal drive bays.
The four 36 GB disks are configured in a standard stripe using DiskSuite:
d10 is a single 138 GB volume mounted under /data3 presently.
