Enough of that, how do I make this thing!

Well, for a start, you can use Word '97, that very same handy-dandy word processor you have been using to write all your papers! (See how this can go hand in hand with procrastinating paper-writing?)

Making a web page with Word is a lot like typing a paper, however there are some important limitations which the language of the web (HTML) places on things. For example, you can't use tabs or multiple spaces to space things out on your web page (it will reduce it to one space). You have to put your text or pictures in a table and use the table columns and rows to space it out. Another difference is font size. Fonts (text) size is not measured in size numbers like 12, 14 etc. the way it is in word processing documents. As you will see, the font is ether stepped up (bigger) or down (smaller) using two buttons on the toolbar (button and word-command thing at the top of the screen). Also, not all font styles will show up on the web. Unfortunately, your choices are limited.

There will be other differences too, but on we go!
